  : The desk staff was polite, accommodating and courteous, and the location was close to the business I needed to tend to.
  : I was surprised there wasn't an in-room coffee maker or coffee, or an alarm clock. Carpeted floors would have been more inviting as compared to concrete with carpeted runners. And while I did see what I believe is a ventilation fan in the bathroom, I couldn't locate the switch to turn it on.

  : the roaches the dirty room with the weird Odor the stains on the cover the overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel room was not up to par I went to try and take a shower and there was roaches

  : Location was not too far from downtown
  : My air conditioner wasn't working and there were no screens on the windows. I tried to get it fixed and waited 5 hours. They came and fixed it at about 11:30 p.m. They were in and out of the room for over an hour and finally got it working. But it only worked for about 20 minutes. I was very hot all night and couldn't open the window because there were bugs attracted to the floodlight just outside of my window. And again, there was not a screen on the window.The bathtub was not clean and I had to clean it myself. The carpet was not vacuumed well either so things were sticking to my feet and there were dead bugs around the edge of the bed. In addition the remote control for the TV was missing. So all that combined made for a very rough night. At checkout, the morning front desk clerk was unsympathetic and offered no compensation for my discomfort. She said she shouldn't have to provide any compensation because I received such a good deal on the room through through the company that books my rooms for me. I've stayed at this Econo Lodge over 20 times since February and never lodged a single complaint until this visit. But when I asked for compensation at the front desk for no air conditioning she was quick to say no and added that if I didn't like it I shouldn't come back.. So I've done exactly as she requested. I stay at American Inn now.
