  : Staff were very good, meals were excellent and we were made welcome.

  : The rooms are spacious loved the bathroom clean but the shower pressure was tickling. Very frustrated. The other thing was the carpets was very dirty and the colour including the bedding were too dull for my liking meaning it did not match a holiday mood. Would I stay again for the value of money no. Why there was no internet in the rooms or WiFi. It cost my work and time. Do I left very early morning bells.

  : Location was fine for what we needed i.e. Close by to family.
  : It was incredibly basic. Unfortunately because there are very few (if any) other options they can charge high rates, but it really wasn't worth the price paid. The front door was not particularly safe or secure (having to lock from the inside is not fire safe), wasn't a very solid door. The bathroom needs a lot of care and attention - lots of broken tiles, taps falling apart, black marks in the corner. We weren't told in the check-in information the option about organising breakfast the night before in terms of both the cut off time and the price. So when we arrived to check-in it was too late to book that. Staff attitude not the greatest. Doesn't even come with a hairdryer!

  : Are jammed lthat were left over from breakfast from taking away even though we paid for him and still has a croissants left My gammon at dinner was full of fat There is no lightbulb in the main bedroom my husband tried a lightbulb from a different room and the fitting is actually broken

  : The Anchor Inn food was excellent. Friendly staff and a nice room. The pub opened at noon, so there was no hot breakfast on both days. We requested continental breakfast, they made fresh croissants and delivered them the previous night. If you want to stay in bed and want more than that, source something yourself the previous night.

  : lovely old pub , food is lovely and the bar staff are very pleasant and welcoming , the area its situated in is lovely and relaxing and its not to far from the town which is a plus
  : Could do with some TLC in certain areas in the rooms but being and old building I completely understand , beds also arent the best very springy
