  : Good location for the purpose of my visit. Unusual process for access to property & room. Absolutely no personal contact. Might suit some but not others.Not particularly good value for money for this type of accommodation. But it did suit the purpose of my visit to Taunton.
  : Impersonal. Very soft bed with poor support if you have a dodgy back.

  : Easy access to the property and close to the town centre
  : The room was way too hot with no means to turn the temperature down. We opened the windows as wide as we could but the air flow was non existent with the curtains closed so during the night to feel somewhat comfortable we had to have the curtains a little open but there was a bright security on the corner of the building that lit up the room! There was no one at reception at any point whilst we were there. So messaged the host letting them know the issue in the morning, where they were extremely rude and abrupt. He told me straight away there was no refund even though I hadn't asked for one in the first place? And said he'd report me to booking.com and all sites when I just expressed how we all found the stay. I don't know if he was having a bad day or is generally like this but I find it hard to believe he will continue to successfully run a business with an attitude like that! It's a shame

  : Only stayed in property for 10 minutes whilst we argued over the phone to the owner about why our room hadn't been cleaned, no bedding (duvet & pillows left on floor). The keypad entry system had been ripped off the wall clearly by a disgruntled customer (they claimed it was a drunk man, but hadn't called the police or got a crime number) we only gained entry to building from other guests at the property that just happened to be returning from an evening out.Absolute joke of a guest house, even though it's advertised as a hotel. Also we weren't the only people effected by the horrendously poor service.After numerous texts from the owner apologising and trying to fob us off, we had our back within 30 mins (this was at 23.00hr) and luckily stayed at a local premier inn
  : The owners lack of backbone with not answering our phone calls and only calling us after my wife messaged the owner to tell him he was being reported.
