  : To noisey there was a wedding on and all night we could hear people outside chatting shouting this went on till 4.30 am we struggled to sleep

  : We choose to stay here after getting married here 11 years ago & decided to re-visit for our anniversary. Great location right in the centre of Tamworth walking distance to anywhere. Nice clean room that was recently painted. Nice to have a bath in the room. Comfortable bed & great tea making facilities.
  : No lights on when we arrived rang the doorbell to be greeted by a staff member who turned the lights on. Gave me a form to sign & gave us our room key.After unloading our things in the room we went for a walk around the castle grounds upon going back to the castle hotel we didn’t know how to get back in, so we rang the doorbell to be greeted by the same member of staff who let us in the first time. I asked him if this is how we get back in to be told no you have a key fob on your keys you touch onto the sensor to open the door. Which no one had told us.I asked if we could book breakfast for our 2 day stay, he said they wasn’t serving breakfast’s, then another lady who was in the reception area I’m only assuming she worked there said yes we do, we only don’t do them in the week, they never did tell us how much they are or what times breakfast is served. & told us we could just pay on the morning. We decided that seeing as none of the staff have a clue we would find an alternative place to go for breakfast. We wanted to open the window as the room had been recently painted & still strong smell of gloss paint but the window was painted shut unfortunately. The room did get warm so could of done with letting some air in.

  : Splendid location, proximity to the town. The receptionist was most helpful in quickly sorting out a different room to suit our age group. Quiet room.
  : The original double bed was close to the wall so one partner would have been obliged to climb over to get in and out of bed. Thanks to the receptionist who allocated a different more suitable room for us. The nearby parking only allowed a maximum of 2hrs stay with no return within 2hrs so we had to repark before 8 in the morning. It's inconvenient to have to go elsewhere to have breakfast.
