  : Very spacious and good location, beautiful view by nice weather.
  : During rainy days very humid, only 5 knives for 8 persons, we had bad luck with renovations going around.

  : Parking was a challenge, the wiring could use an update, and the door handle was missing from one of the bathrooms.

  : The property looked very tired and needs updating. There was no one there to greet us and we had to go in search of the agents office to make payment. Although a short video was provided, it took us a bit of time to locate the correct building. Despite the great views, we would not stay there again unless some work is done to improve the quality of the fixtures and fittings.

  : The view was AMAZING! Apartment was spacious, it was convenient to get the keys from the lockbox. There was nice big fridge, a lot of room to eat dinner inside or on the terrace. 2 bathrooms. We could use a baby cot for free, that was really nice.
  : The water was sometimes cold and in order to get hot water you need to turn on two taps. But nobody informed us about that before the trip so I had to find out about it after I tried to bathe my baby in the morning with cold water. So not really convenient with children. Also, the showerhead fell down from the wall 3 times. And there were ants crawling on the floor in every room, including bathroom. One bathroom didn't have wall hooks (or maybe it did - something broken and weirdlooking was on the wall). Bathrooms should have been cleaned better. There were large dark curtains that couldn't be removed entirely so they were hiding partly the amazing view from the living room. The photos on the webpage are old, there are actually colorful wallpapers in every room.

  : Gorgeous view, the dining room was much better and larger than imagined! Huge terrace. Beds are comfy, two bathrooms which is great. Kitchen well stocked with coffee capsules (thank you!)
  : Didnt have any cleaning products (brooms, sponges, bin bags) or personal hygiene products (body wash etc). Many electrical sockets looked a bit unsafe

  : The view from the balcony was amazing.
  : The walk up to the property from the gates was very steep. The walk from the town centre was also quite steep. This should have been explained in the property details as this property would not be suitable for those with difficulty walking. The door handle to one of the bathrooms was missing, instead there was a hole in the door. There were no guidance notes in the property explaining how the lift system works. The electricity in the kitchen failed twice - the first time electricians came to replace a cable, the second time was on the penultimate day so we managed without. The shower curtthe one bathroom was very poor. The hot water was intermittent when taking a shower sometimes leaving you shivering other times scalding you. The blinds in the bedroom could not be closed if you wanted the windows open - as there was no air-conditioning you needed the windows open which meant that there was no way to block out the daylight in the morning.

  : + The view is the most positive aspect of this apartment. Truly spectacular view of the Borromean islands and Lago Maggiore. (I wish this were enough to compensate for all of the cons that the apartment has). + The size of two of the bedrooms was spacious. The third bedroom you couldnt move around if the double bed was open. However, the apartment is outdated and needs certain updates. There was absolutely no hot water in the kitchen. The bathroom shower, tub and toilets are old and were dirty (the sinks and floor however were new) and the bathroom smelled of sewage. The sofa bed couch in the living room was so stained and dirty that we avoided having to touch it. Lastly, we had to kill beetle like bugs every day during our stay (3 in two of the bedrooms, and found a dead one the first evening next to the nightstand table). There is no assigned parking for the apartment and it was not easy to find nearby parking within the complex, having to walk a lot uphill from where we found parking to where the apartment is. The apartment is not conveniently located for use without a car - very steep hill all the way to the apartment - and we needed to drive to go to Stresa downtown or to the port (having to pay for daytime parking).
  : Our family (including kids and grandparents) stayed April 13-15th. The weather in Stresa during our stay was cold, with lows of 5 degrees C and wind advisories all 3 days (so the temperature feel even colder). The apartment is in a building with central heating and radiator heating in the apartment. As announced to the agency, we arrived at 7p on the night of the 13th to a freezing cold apartment. All of the radiators in the apartment were off except for in the 2 bathrooms. I contacted the agency immediately and they said that as per the rules on the apartment door, heating is regulated by turning the valves on the radiators (from 1 to 5). We immediately opened all the valves but as the building has central heating, the heat is turned off during certain hours, including all throughout the evening. There were no extra blankets or comforters, the windows are old and very drafty, and we all had to sleep with our coats on. The next morning I complained to the agency that they had not left the apartment prepared for guests by having left the valves open / the heating on PRIOR to our arrival. They continued to say that the rules are on the door that we have to control the heating on each radiator, which we did indeed do. However, it is UNACCEPTABLE to have guests arrive in the evening to an apartment that has not been heated in days and at an hour when even if we open the valves, the building turns off the central heating. They had a thermometer in the apartment living room - we were at 10 degrees Celsius our first evening and 15 degrees Celsius our second evening. I demanded a refund for the first evening given that we had to sleep in completely inappropriate conditions at 10 degrees Celsius.
