  : The location was excellent, though parking was a slight challenge due to ongoing renovations. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere inside the bar on a Friday night was very inviting.
  : The room was too hot and the thermostat could not be adjusted, so we ended up sleeping with the windows open, which was not ideal in February. The bed was not especially comfortable for us, but this is highly subjective.

  : Breakfast fantastic. Evening meal our staters of prawns were delicious my main meal of duck was delicious too. My husbands main meal of pie was sadly overdone and burnt. Which they offered a free desert or drink but we declined as it was late in the evening and it had been a long day.
  : The room was in the court yard and was noisy not in the hotel as expected with 2 single beds pushed together. The carpet was that dirty it was fit for a skip.

  : A delightful old inn. The room was nice - comfy bed and a good shower. Breakfast was delicious and we had an evening meal which was fantastic. The biggest recommendation is the staff - everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. A really excellent team. We hope to return.

  : This Inn is within walking distance of the beautiful village of Burton on the Water. We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon so staff were under pressure. The lady of the house is very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our room by her and she explained about making a dinner reservation as they were extremely busy, this was helpful. Location is very good, restaurant and bar has great potential but the accommodation lets this place down, big time.
  : It is advertised that there is parking available. We were unable to park in their parking (max 5 cars) during our stay as they were always taken, not enough spaces if every guest drove a car so bare this in mind. Breakfast service was extremely poor, there is relaxed and then there is the mousetrap in relaxed! Normally people like their tea and toast with their breakfasts and not when breakfast is finished. Toast was burnt, ordered fried eggs and received poached eggs. Very disappointing breakfast service however the food was tasty. Breakfast staff seem very unorganized and only one person seemed to be on each morning.Our bedroom wasnt like the pictures, the ensuite was very small and a lot of mould in it on the ceiling which isnt ideal. We also noticed that our ceiling was leaking on the morning of departure. Breakfast restaurant- Bathrooms didnt seem to be cleaned from the night before with no toilet paper in them at breakfast time.
