  : Staff very welcoming & housekeeping lady was very helpful with the cot that we had requested- nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were freshly decorated & furnished to a high standard.Very comfortable beds. Plenty of onsite parking & the location was very quiet at night. The rooms are in an adjoining annexe so not subject to any noise from within the pub.Full range of cereals available at breakfast plus orange & apple juice. Very polite & prompt service.
  : Although freshly cooked, the breakfast ingredients varied in quality. The Gloucestershire Old Spot sausage was excellent as was the bacon, but the black pudding had a bit too much cereal in it. The homemade baked beans were not to our taste - would have preferred an extra rasher of bacon.

  : One of the most stunning pubs, with the friendliest staff, in an incredible village setting, and a super clean and comfortable room. The cooked breakfast was super, the crackling fires in the pub made it even more special, and they're really welcoming of dogs. Incredible value and can't recommend enough.

  : Lovely little pub with roaring fires. Very friendly staff. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable (incredibly comfortable mattress). Bathrooms were a little basic. Breakfast was nice and very impressed a full breakfast was included in the price of the room. The breakfast room where we ate breakfast was a bit less welcoming than the rest of the pub. No ambience, furniture needs to be re-considered. We ate in the pub and the food was ok. Staff were very accommodating with us and friendly. Felt our stay was very good value for money.
  : Breakfast room needs modernising. The pub could possibly consider doing some cocktails as drinks were limited.
