  : The restaurant staff and cleaning staff were lovely.
  : Its very sad to have to write a negative review because the restaurant and cleaning staff were lovely. But every one of the front desk staff, were rude, unprofessional, and aggressive, specifically Rossario. By our last night he had escalated to a point where my partner and I were concerned for our safety. On our second last night there, Rossario stopped my partner on her way up to our room and angrily demanded to know if we were sleeping together, asking for intimate details about the nature of our relationship. Later we met a friend of ours for dinner and she came back to the hotel for a glass of wine before she went back to her accomodation. They dont have a no guests policy and we had chatted to two other groups whod had guests briefly in their room - so we assumed (as per policy) that this would be acceptable. We were immediately accused by Rossario of bringing her to stay the night for some reason, and she was loudly harassed for room payment and her passport within the first 5 minutes of being in the building, which must have been incredibly disturbing to other guests who were passing through reception. We kept explaining that she had met us for dinner and would be leaving for her accomodation shortly and he refused to believe us, continuing to yell over the top of me, clicking his fingers and waving his hands inches from my face. Eventually after explaining over and over to him he seemed to believe me and said there wasnt a problem. Less than an hour later he rang the room and again accused her of staying overnight, yelling down the phone. She was incredibly shaken and eventually just paid the room fee to stay and chat. Because he had been so violent that she was too scared to leave that night and ended up staying in the room with us til morning, and none of us ended up sleeping at all.

  : Great location, nice view, gentle staff
  : 1. The rooms are very old. 2. The first night we stayed in room 511 with a wonderful view. At the same time, the furniture and equipment of the room were literally ancient. Towards evening, a terrible hum began in the room, the source of which the staff could not determine; it was difficult to sleep. The next night we moved to room 709, it was much newer and no noise. Please note that there are old and new rooms, they are very different. 3. Breakfast leaves much to be desired, little choice and little tasty food.
