  : - The owners are great! - The rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. - The location - couple minutes of walk from bus stop 4 (possible to purchase bus tickets by card) which takes you to all the beaches. Central location, by the main street of shops and restaurants. Bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, beach equipment store - all across the road. - The pool is nice. - The pool bar is nice. - There is a small kitchen with a kettel and a refrigerator.
  : We stayed in room number 2. - It is on the ground floor right by the road and is VERY noisy from all the scooters passing by, it was a problem during the night but also just to talk to each other. - Privacy - every person going to/from the pool or bar is passing by your small balcony, if you want privacy you need to close the doors and turn on the lights. - There is no table in the room, we were 3 and we had to eat separately - on the bed, standing, one small plastic shelf and chair in the balcony. - The kitchen is not practical, there is no working space. - Most likely relevant to the entire island but the tap water is salty, you need to buy water for the room.

  : The couple who run Taxiarchis are lovely, friendly, helpful. The location is fantastic for the main strip with bars and restaurants and also a lovely beach, all within a few mins walk. Taxi was only 15 euros to the airport. The port and boat trips are also walking distance. The pool is small but lovely to cool off in and it wasnt busy despite being August and we always got a sun lounger. The bathroom was nicely tiled and the shower had good pressure.. The sheets and towels were changed regularly and our bin was emptied daily. Our flight wasnt until 9pm and the couple kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at taxiarchis for the day, use the shower and toilet by the pool before leaving and ordered us a taxi to the airport.
  : We were in room 2 which wasnt really big enough for 3. It didnt have a table for eating at so we had to sit on our beds to eat breakfast and dinner as the balcony also wasnt big enough to sit on, it only had 1 chair on it and no table, it had a plastic shelf hooked onto the balcony edge but it was leaning so you couldnt put anything on it. We tried to eat on the balcony on our first day and we took the luggage table and dressing table stool onto the balcony to sit on and make a table but my daughter couldnt fit on the balcony and she sat in the door opening inside the room. We also didnt like it being on the main road which was quite busy and noisy and it was also next to the main door to the bar and pool so people walk straight past the balcony., no privacy and felt on show, we had to close the curtain to go in and eat our beds so that nobody could see into the room. The kitchen needs some more workspace and another cupboard as we had to move the kettle to the dressing table and also plate the food up on the dressing table. The cutlery tray was on the small bit of worktop which I had to make room in a cupboard for so I could use the worktop. The kitchen could do with some more equipment, only 5 plates all different sizes and 3 were plastic, only one pan but we were given another one when I asked for it, a foot was missing off the 2 ring hob on the worktop which we had to put something underneath to stop it wobbling. The kitchen window has a piece of fabric covering it as the view looks onto an enclosed service area with pipes and a ladder, if you open the bathroom window that it has the same view. We like to sit and eat and read on a balcony, its a big part of our holiday so it did spoil the end of our island hopping holiday for my daughters 18th birthday treat, Wed stayed in 4 other places prior to finishing in skiathos which had all had lovely balconys and eating facilities. Wish wed have had any room but this one, it was a huge disappointment.
