  : It is a nice apartment right in front of the train station. The space is big and comfortable. Maria Joao is a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and very generous.
  : There is a little bit of noise from upstairs. Even though the place is right in front of the train station, the entrance is not very visible, specially when is dark and raining.

  : The warmth of the owner for setting all up. Also the ambience was pretty good and it is very well located. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic

  : Wonderful Hostess, right across from the train station . Lots to see , experience and explore very close by . We left early morning to catch a train and the hostess made up a beautiful Bagged breakfast for us
  : If you are bothered by stairs - this has many to get to the office and then to your room . Room was not very soundproof .

  : Location is difficult to get to only because there is a huge flight of stairs so be prepared! Shower pressure was very low so if you are planning to shower plan for it to take a while, but was happy with the temp

  : The location is why I booked it and it did not disappoint the train and bus stops are bang opposite, making visiting the area very convenient. The toilet being outside the room was not a problem. The proprietress Maria Joao is very kind, the breakfast is very attractively presented and generous, it is usually served between 8am and 10, but on request, was gracefully given at 7.30 am. The room price is very reasonable.
  : If I remember correctly, we had the Green Room. The bed was very uncomfortable, it just sagged under us and the room and bed was very small, no chair in the room. There was also a lost od disturbance during the night from the floor above us, every movement sounds through the floor boards. The toilet paper was of very poor quality. The outside spaces, that is the entrance to the property and the open to air staircases were not cleaned once in the four days that we were there. Other than the bed, which is personal choice, none of the negatives should disuade.

  : The owner was very sweet and helpful, although she spoke very little English.
  : Access to the rooms was down a steep flight of outside iron steps; access to the dining area was down another two flights - also outside. The whole set-up is NOT accessible to anyone with any mobility issues There was a router on top of the wardrobe, which flashed off and on all night. The arrangement of the rooms was really weird, having to walk along a shared corridor to the bathroom, with the light switches in unexpected places and separate keys for everything. Although it was being well-managed and disguised, I could still detect damp mould in the living area. Any photographs I've seen of the inside and outside of the property are very misleading.
