  : We loved this spaciousness of the apartment-like rooms and the history associated with this building. The thick walls made our room very soundproof despite being located directly over the street. They were undergoing extensive renovations at the time; we would love to visit when these are completed. The door man was so knowledgable and helpful (thank you again). We could leave our car parked and walk to the World's Fair Site (and therefore get to museums and take the monorail to Pike's Place) from here. We enjoyed a very good restaurant "Sal Y Limon" (twice!) just a few steps around the corner.
  : Fire alarm testing early in the morning as we were packing up to leave, could have been scheduled at a better time; this was fairly horrible and long lasting. Hopefully renovations will add a few more electrical outlets in the kitchen (ie for ease of using the coffee maker).

  : Even though it was under renovation the hotel was wonderful with a great history behind it. It was very close to our needs before we cruised out to Alaska.

  : The staff from the front desk to the valet were amazingly friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities, however, are under total renovation and the construction smell is overwhelming. The area is not the safest and unless you are into old hotel charm channeling the Shinning then you may want to postpone your visit to the MarQueen.
  : Dated in every way. Rusty plumbing is a bonus.
