  : The amenities were nice touch as far as the bar, gym, pool table and atrium.
  : When we first checked in, we had to change our room because it was filthy. All the common touch areas had fingerprints or smudges. The headband was quite disturbing as it had random oily spots on it. The sheets had stains on it as well (which is why I always check them before getting settled in). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with getting us a new room. Although once we got to the new room it still had a few areas I was unhappy with as far as commonly touched areas. At this point I was tired from our trip so I just used the Lysol wipes I brought with me and cleaned up myself. I did have to ask for additional towels and sheets as we lacked both. There also were no complementary soaps or facial tissue. I did also notice hair in various places which is disgusting to me. I get it nothing is perfect but as a previous hotel employee I understand the value in cleanliness for the guests especially in a world of post COVID. Overall the price didn’t match the hotel. I feel like I was charged Westin prices for a Days Inn hotel room.

  : It was conveniently located. Most of downtown Savannah is under a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Parking is secured but is mandatory valet.
  : The hotel is beside a gas station and there were some sketchy people outside after dark. The hotel bar closed an hour before the scheduled closing time. There were no basic amenities in the room such as bottled water or an iron one would expect of a hotel. We thought the hotel was overpriced for the quality. The parking is $35 a day, and that is per day, not 24-hour day. We arrived at 4:30pm and left the following day at 10:45am and were charged $70 to park overnight despite being in the garage less than 24 hours.

  : Valet parking was disorganized. Room next door had a dog that barked throughout the day. Limited breakfast options, which were also expensive

  : The location was convenient.
  : Overall cleanliness severely lacking. The entrance floors were quite dirty including lobby upholstered furniture. I was also displeased that our room floors were dirty upon arrival and had to call the desk to let them know, to which, no remedy was provided. The cleaning staff must’ve gotten the message after that though, as everything was tidy and cleaned for the rest of our stay. We also found the general design elements, although modern in visual, did not work in practicality. The pocket toilet doors, for instance, are a haven for germs because one has to touch the handles before being able to wash hands in the sink, which is in a separate area. Also, the window shades are difficult to maneuver and don’t allow for a view AND privacy. You get one or the other. The carpet/rug, which I’m sure was bright and clean at one time, was quite the opposite and showed signs of fraying on the edges. And the biggest problem was the echoes of other hotel guests flushing toilets and talking, as there is no noise whatsoever in this more industrial design. White noise would definitely be something I would consider when designing a hotel. No one wants to stay in a hollow vacuum of a place. We even brought our own fan and it didn’t seem to rise above the chatter of passersby in the hallways.
