  : Nicely decorated contemporary style rooms. Well stocked bar. Friendly staff. An enjoyable stay.
  : Continental breakfast included in room rate was adequate but with limited choice. No choice of pastries or bread. Just one of each which were not as fresh as they could have been. Ease of access to the self service counter could have been better and the mini fridge containing the yoghurt was at floor level making it difficult to access for less mobile customers. A cooked breakfast was available at extra cost.

  : The room was very good, the evening meal was very nice and the staff were great
  : We sat at a table by a window which was directly next to the smoking area, and being a Friday evening the bar was very busy and there was a constant stream of people trekking backwards and forwards to the toilet, only small things but just enough to stop me from giving full marks.

  : An unfortunate experience I wont ever return. Heres why I scored this venue so lowly.Check in. We arrived (Saturday- 4pm), rang the bell at reception, rang it again, then went looking for someone. The lady behind the bar said shed be there after serving a customer, but hats off to another Team member who came away from her break to check us in. She told us breakfast was Continental from 8am to 10am, and English from 9am to 10am, and there was an additional charge for English. She didnt mention that was 14 per head! All the time I was on the premises I noticed that the venue was well-staffed, but regardless no-one actively acknowledged nor greeted customers, and bizarrely finding anyone to help with anything was both difficult and time-consuming!The room. In my opinion, less than 20 sq m (I notice now they dont publish room sizes...) Tiny. Situated immediately above the rear exit to the pub meaning open windows invited rowdy noise and cigarette smoke. Perhaps the smoking area should be moved to the car park? The room had two mirrors, one at shoulder height above a shelf holding the tea/coffee tray, and the other above the bathroom sink. There was no seating (other than the bed) so clearly nowhere for a female guest to prepare for a night out, and the bathroom sink had no lighting to allow my husband anything other than a clumsy shave in half-light. If Id been a business traveller wanting to do any sort of work in the room, no chance! I approached Reception to see if it was possible to change rooms but was advised that all rooms were taken and all guests had already checked in (at 4pm? Check in is from 2pm onwards). A colleague of mine, a single male, had already checked in to the same venue and been awarded a room more than double the size at the same cost that would have been more appropriate for a couple, but I guess theres no sense-checking in operation it was suggested I ask him to swap rooms!
