  : View of pond and ducks etc from window was nice.
  : Constant industrial motor noise, disturbed by car door & engine warming up at 4.30am, then again at 5ish, haulage lorries warming up engines around 6am, tractor starting and manoeuvring around farm noise, excavator doing earth moving from 7am. The overwhelming so called air freshers, I believe 5 is too many for a 3 room venue and host should consider asthma susceptible guests. I was expecting a quiet venue, with fewer people around, in the countryside. I believe check out at 9am is too early. A text stating cleaning was finished, and we could check in early was nice, but at 12.00ish on the day it just rubs salt in the 9am check out wound, supposedly required for cleaning time. I did not see anything about this early checkout in the pre booking notes.

  : Uncomfortable bed and pillows, ended up with sore neck. Having to run the kitchen tap for a prolonged time to get cold water as it initially comes out hot.
