This exclusive hotel offers scenic mountain views and cosy rooms in an annex of the historic Leopoldskron Palace just 2 km from Salzburg’s historic centre. Scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed on site and the Salzburg Festival was founded there. Leopoldskron Palace is privately owned and not generally accessible to the public. Guests enjoy free access to the palace the Max Reinhardt Library and the chapel. The rooms in the Meierhof Annex and the suites which are all situated at the palace feature satellite TV a minibar and a bathroom.
A fitness centre and bikes are at guests' disposal and free WiFi is provided in all areas. The daily breakfast buffet is served in the majestic breakfast room in the palace. In good weather conditions guest can also have their breakfast on the panorama balcony. Drinks and cakes are offered at the Meierhof Café which also features a terrace with views to the garden and to the Leopoldskroner Weiher Lake. Upon arrival a welcome drink is served in one of the 3 neighboring restaurants within 5 minute walking distance.
