: The apartment was superb but could have done with better pillows although that is a personal preference

: The apartment was really well laid out it had everything you could think of it was very spacious, and the bedrooms were big, and having their own on-suites were a bonus the living space was lovely and bright and being open plan also felt very spacious. The complex that it belongs to was again well thought out and looked after. I really liked it so much. If when I retire, I was going to down size I would love a place like this.
: The only thing the appartment needs is a bit of TLC in the form of a paint and the patio doors need matinance in regards of adjustment to the wheels and lubrication as they need a bit of force to open and close. There was also a wardrobe door missing in one of the bedrooms and a round indentation in the wall in the other which I reported as not to get the blame or charged for as there is a 200 waver on your booking In case of damage.Regarding the area, you really need a car to be in this location. The roads are really narrow 2 cars cant pass and need to pull in to cut out or back up till you find one there is also very steep hills to walk up as there is no other way of getting to Salcombe transport wise except a ferry which runs from 10am to 5pm weather permitting to which we found out one day when we went to Salcombe and had to walk back due to it being cancelled and taxis are none existent.Something else to bear in mind It is also taken out of service after the October school term week for 3 month's so you are really stranded without a car. Also there are 2 hotels where you can eat and get a drink but there is no shops at all nearest is in Salcombe so bear this in mind you just can't pop out if you forget something eg milk or bread if you run out.Salcombe itself, i wasn't that impressed with, and everywhere over charges, I call it the covid tax making up for what they lossed through covid. If you think 12 for a 250mm glass of red wine or 12.50 for a piece of fish on it own no chips from the fish and chip shop, not a restaurant is exceptable well so be it. Their sign said the high price was the cost from the fish market and not their fault but I am back home and went to my local fish and chip shop and the fish cost 6.50 and also comes from a market so make your own mind up.

: Dated decor. A bit unloved/tatty for the price (wardrobe door missing, empty hand soaps, gaps in the kitchen plinth where new appliances have been added, velux windows really dirty).
