  : Staff were friendly and very helpful try their beat to make your stay pleasurable
  : Terrible bed, booked a room with double bed. 2 single beds pushed together does not qualify for a double bed.Drain in bathroom floor smelled, I did report it and the staff reacted but smell was back within 2 days. No complimentary coffee in rooms and no filter coffee or cappuccino at breakfast - for this you pay extra - was an irritation for me.

  : The welcome was wonderfully friendly, as was the attention received during the whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a warm smile. The dining room is exceptional with a great view of the beautiful garden where there are tables for those wishing to dine or just have tea/coffee outside. The room was immaculately clean and peaceful ensuring a great night’s sleep. The riverside location was perfect, within easy reach and short taxi rides of the train station of The Hermitage and Fabergé museums. It was so good, I can honestly say that I will not look elsewhere when visiting this magnificent city.

  : Olga, who greeted us on arrival and who speaks very little English was so helpful via google translate, caring , friendly and also amusing . Unfortunately she was only there for our first day and we found the other reception staff rather cold. Our room facing the park was amazing The fridge in our room was a good size and very quiet. The orangery, where breakfast is served, is beautiful and the breakfast staff went out of their way to provide us with differrent food items according to our specific dietry requirements .The hotel is within walking distance of a metro station, large Spar supermarket and aslo to other touritic areas.
  : The reception staff, apart from Olga, were not friendly and most had very limited English.
