: Well appointed, excellent welcome, good breakfast. The muffins were a delightful touch
: We had to go outside to get to our room after climbing too many stairs. Also there was a droning noise from the swimming pool. They did switch it off when we mentioned it on the second night

: Meals other than breakfast only available at weekends. Need to drive to eat out . Didn't particularly like the nearest pub to eat.

: The suite was extensive with a huge bathroom. Rather a bizarre configuration because it comprised various parts of an old house, but very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially accommodating our having breakfast in a separate room as we weren't feeling terribly well. The grounds were lovely, too. A lot of thought and work has been put into this hotel.
: The weekend dinner menu seemed rather lacking in variety.
