  : The property is in SaaS-Grund which is an excellent wooden villa. The views from the villa were snow capped Swiss Alps. The journey to the property is connected from the Visp Train station via a 30 min uphill bus drive on route 511 until the stop Tamatten, from where it is a 3 min walk. The host was very considerate and supportive. He also suggested our stay plan over the next days based on our places of interest. The property is spacious with nice kitchen and other facilities. All windows and balconies have great views. There is no lift to second floor but was quite manageable for us. We stayed for a night and then moved to Bern to cover the other attractions.
  : The property is excellent with serene atmosphere all around. It is advisable to stay if one wishes to cover the breath taking views of the great Swiss Alps around this place. The proximity to places like Interlaken, Saanen, Lake Genewa, Engelberg, etc is a bit far. So, plan accordingly.

  : Not sure what other accommodations were available at Haus Weideli, but I had a comfortable fully furnished, ground floor apartment. I bought breakfast food at the Coop market 2 bus stops or 10-15 mins walk away. Refrigerator, cooking faciilities, dishes... were completely adequate. Several 5-8(?) restaurants for evening dining were located within 10-15 mins walk or a couple of bus stops. In them I had a couple of relatively inexpensive (for Switzerland) but very nice meals, and a couple of more mediocre offerings. Haus Weideli is about a 1-2 minute walk from the bus stop, with generally every-half-hour buses to Saas-Grund and Saas-Fee. The buses and most of the (summer) lifts are included in the free pass provided by the landlord. I found my host, Edgar, to speak excellent English, and he was very accommodating. For example, I am always frustrated, when I travel in Europe, that there is -universally- a bottom sheet on the bed and a quilt or duvet. Temperature-wise, I find that means that when I sleep, I'm either uncovered or overheating. I asked Edgar if it was possible to get a top sheet or an extra duvet cover to use as one, and he immediately provided me with a top sheet. Also, when I arrived and tried to log into wifi, I could only get a very slow signal. I mentioned it to Edgar and he promptly provided a login to a fast wifi router just outside the apartment. If I return to Saas-Fee/Saas-Grund I will check availability at Haus Weideli first!
