: Great location and truly stunning panoramic view of the bay and mountains from the large enclosed balcony. Friendly, helpful and very responsive property manager. Apartment very well equipped (e.g. shower excellent and very effective air con units in the living areas). It was also very peaceful with no noise from other apartments in the block or nearby. Location is a short walk down the hill to the bay, beach, boats, bars, shops, restaurants and tram stop. On one of our 7 nights there was loud music reaching the balcony but the rest of the time we found it wonderful to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Twice during our stay a group of 6-7 wild mountain goats made their way up the street and past the appartment! A short walk further up the hill from the apartment is the fantastic Nautilus restaurant and the Jumeirah hotel, both with wonderful views while you eat or enjoy a cool drink.
: On arrival the bathrooms smelled of drains, and the bed linen and towels did not smell fresh. When we raised this with the property manager (Mar) she acted immediately and got the cleaners back in. Afterwards the new bed linen was fine and towels OK. However the smelly drains seems to be beyond their control (a local problem?). As a result we found the en-suite bathroom unusable and the main bathroom was just about OK. This is such a shame because both rooms are modern and very well fitted. I should also mention that if you would be put off by the occasional cockroach in the shared areas of the apartment block then this accommodation may not be right for you.
