  : BREAKFAST was amazing! There was a selection of hot and cold items including: eggs, sausage, bacon, bread rolls, croissants, toast, cold cut meats, cheeses, yogurts, sliced vegetables, fruit, jams and spreads... and more. There was also coffee and tea, juices, and sparkling wine. There was no shortage of anything, the staff was on hand to replenish and keep things tidy, and I didn't feel rushed. The breakfast room itself is a nice space to sit and relax before starting the day, with a pleasant view out to the sauna/spa area/garden. LOCATION is excellent, literally just a handful of metres from the walking and bike trails (Eifelsteig, Vennbahn). The sauna/spa is attached to the building so you can visit very easily at a discounted rate for hotel guests (note: it's a nude sauna/spa so you only need a towel but I also suggest shower sandals). Within a block there are bakeries and stores (Netto, DM, Aldi) and a petrol station directly opposite on the main road, restaurants within a 5 minute walk - whatever you need, it's close by. ROOM is basic but good - it was really just a place to shower & sleep after a day's walking in the forest.
  : I wasn't bothered but you might want to know that there weren't full curtains on the windows. So if you're sensitive to light and don't want to wake at sunrise then bring a sleep mask/eye shade. The doors to the hallway aren't soundproof so you may hear other guests coming and going, so if you're sensitive to sounds then bring earplugs, but if that's the case then they're probably packed in your standard travel kit :-) The main road is very busy during the day (big trucks etc) but actually completely quiet at night so no concern about that noise.
