  : Great little hideaway cottage. Brand new flooring throughout, so even nicer than the pictures on booking. Good facilities, including dish washer and washing machine/dryer. I was using it for work. The landlord was super helpful with parking issues (my LWB van was too big for the car space) and welcoming when my husband came to visit, with our dog.
  : There is a lot to like about this simple property. The only down side of being in a small hamlet is that you will have to drive to eat out, but there are a number of quality pubs in the area.

  : I liked all the appliances in the kitchen and made use of them. This cottage was the perfect size for us two and our dog,who loved the garden. It was in a good location with off road parking. The host was very helpful with both key collection and directions. It was the perfect base for touring the Yorkshire Dales. I would recommend this cottage as the bed was super comfy and the duvet so warm.
  : There were a few gangly spiders up high in the bedroom. I loved the spare room,which could easily be made into an ensuite or another bedroom

  : Parking. The access is quite tricky. A large car would struggle The shower is not great as the water pressure is not very strong.

  : Great location to get to Ripley, Harrogate, Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. Wensleydale and Whitby also within easy reach. Clean and comfortable cottage. Parking and garden a huge bonus. Great set up for the dog.
  : As others have said, the kitchen could be better equipped and wouldn't cost much to do so. The place would benefit from more cutlery and crockery, and some sharper knives. Not a major issue but there is no soap in the apartment (only alcohol gel and washing up liquid). With no shops nearby, it's worth making sure you bring your own so that you have some as soon as you arrive.

  : A very comfortable cottage. The position, garden and views were lovely and the neighbours were very friendly. We were thrilled to able to put heating on in the evenings, as the weather was inclement. The decor and furniture would not be everybody's cup of tea, but we found it added to the cottagy feel and made it relaxing. Helpfully, the second bedroom, which had no bed, and was set up as a dressing room, with an enormous mirror. It also gave us somewhere to stash the cases. Nice touch. Car parking was easy.
  : We would have liked a large saucepan for pasta and instructions for some of the gadgets - the microwave was a mystery to us!
