  : Location. Room space.
  : Surprised that there was a team building event we werent aware of at the time if booking and we didnt have proper access to the restaurant and food service as we were just some random imposters instead of paying guests of the hotel. Staff behaved like a bunch of teens (which they are). Management need to sort themselves out. This is not serious. Rooms need a lot of renovation.

  : The location was good, overall nice and quiet place especially if you visit it during the week.The included breakfast was good, with enough choices.
  : The hotel was a bit crowded and noisy over the weekend as there was a wedding, wifi wasnt good at all in our building.

  : We liked the view from our room, the pool outside and the spa facilities inside. The reception desk helped us book a horse riding walk and we also had the massages that they offer and they were amazing.
  : Our room furniture was a bit outdated for a 4 star hotel. The bathroom seemed mouldy and one of the cabin shower doors was missing.

  : Staff is very friendly. People with children will enjoy the nice playground and the hotel seems to be pet friendly as well. Spa is okay, though if there are a lot of guests it does get a bit cramped. Food quality was nice. Our room had a bigger than usual fridge. Location is at a good distance from nearby cities, by car of course. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives, it's a nice place, I would recommend for 4-5 nights if it isn't full.
  : TV in the room is way too small. Channels that were available in the restaurant were not present in the room for some reason. We were told there is no option for a room without a bathtub, which makes taking a shower not really comfortable. The dinner menu is way too small and repetitive if you are staying for more than a few nights. Bathrobes were ripped and seemingly old. The last night of our stay, the hotel seemed to be pretty full and our food and even drinks took way too long to be served, even for an almost full restaurant, though I can't blame the waiters too much as they were constantly circling the place.

  : Unfortunately our experience with this hotel was disastrous. We chose The Balkan Jewel for the end of our vacation, specifically because it offer an E charger, a restaurant and a snack bar by the pool, indoor pool + spa, massages, playing areas for children, etc. When we arrived at the hotel, the EV charger wasn't in use, the man at the reception initially said they don't offer such thing and offered us a PHONE charger! Eventually, after speaking and explaining to the 3rd person, they called someone to come the next day (maybe?) and set up the stations, as they didn't seem to be in use at all. Although I sent a message via Booking.com in that exact morning to ask if the EV charger is functional and received an affirmative answer. No biggie, we were tired and hungry and could easily wait until the next day to charge the car. When we wanted to go to the restaurant, after waiting until 7 pm for the main restaurant to open for dinner, as the pool snack bar was closed, we were told we can't eat because they have a private event. After we argued, the women told us to buy the menu from the party group and to eat whatever they planned. Seriously?! We asked for the manager and after another argument she said that we could eat in the room some soup, maybe rice or whatever... Our 4year old daughter was crying by this point and we were beyond disappointed and angry. We chose a nice hotel with, said, a nice restaurant to enjoy the last 2 vacation nights, to enjoy a good dinner and wine, not to eat in the room, so we didn't agree and asked to check-out immediately, which we did. The manager also said that we shouldn't be there because the hotel is full and there is no room for us - but we already received a room. So we left, we no regrets and went to a hotel nearby, where we felt welcomed and could enjoy what we have paid for and what was advertised.
