  : The location is fantastic. The lodge itself is well kept and clean and tidy. It felt comfortable and well equipped. The park its on was quiet and the locals who live there are very friendly.
  : Two things really frustrated us. Firstly we asked if we could get in before 5pm because we have 2 very young children who are usually in bed before that time and we were told no straight away that there was no chance. However we turned up at 2pm just to chance our luck and it was all ready and cleaned.... why couldnt we have access earlier? Even one hour would have been appreciated. As it was we went in at 2pm and stayed. Secondly I called the owner two weeks before we went away to ask how we book the pool. I told him the dates we were arriving and he advised me how to book the pool at reception each morning. Bearing in mind that booking.com advertised it as having a pool to enjoy. When we arrived I went down to the reception only to be told that the pool is closed from October-March. I was so so cross. We booked it because of the pool. I called the owner to check about the pool and we feel we were deliberately misled to believe the pool would be open. Two very disappointed little girls.

  : Lovely spot on holiday park.. accommodation was comfortable.
  : The property needs a good clean.. windows hadnt been cleaned for a while. The bedding needed replacing pillows and duvets. The outside furniture needed a good clean.. the decking and rails full of cobwebs. When you are paying a 1,000 you expect it to have a certain standard!

  : lovely quiet location close to town. Warm comfy lodge with comfy chairs during a very wet jubilee weekend. Loved Polperro so lovely. Had a rib ride, beach visit, pub meals and drinks as well as visiting friends in the area.

  : Great place for the 5 of us. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with equipment for cooking. No spare bin bags though so bring one or two along. Nice hot water in showers. Seating area with new rattan furniture out the back was nice and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay, the holiday park is nice and quiet, very low key with play area and crazy golf. Kids enjoyed playing football in little area set up with goals. Also important to know hill down to Polperro is hard work on way back up, we quite liked the challenge but for anyone with any mobility issues etc good to know. This was made clear in info pack in lodge.
  : Only couple of things could have improved, sofas in living room a little tired (kids didn't mind) and would have been good to know you had to pay 30 for week to use pool, not a big deal as not a lot of money but good to know in advance. We didn't use pool in end as it was quite tired looking and kids loved beach so no need..
