: Good location, clean and tidy, staff I met were nice.Room adequate for requirements. Although entertainment on certain nights, it finished about 11pm, then everything was nice and quiet. Every, day fresh towels and the bed was made.
: Hot water system, to run a bath, had to run the water to get hot water, which seems wasteful for over 15 minutes, I know it is a grade two listed building and my room was up on the third floor, but the hotel were displaying signs about saving on washing towels.Breakfasts at £10 was very basic, not a buffet style but portion controlled, no offer of fruit only fruit juice, no yogurt, cereals a choice of about 4 and porridge, one slice bacon, one sausage, beans, tinned tomatoes, egg which was over cooked, mushrooms and fried bread, no offer of hash browns, choice of brown/white bread, preserves, tea or coffee. Cheap style of brown bread. It was fine , but to eat there every morning would be boring to me.
