  : The location and staff were lovely. We took 2 dogs and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and warm with plenty of teas and coffees etc. The shower was very good. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
  : The room was a little tired, needs a freshen up. Issues were very minor and not dog related. Things like wallpaper needs tidying, minor paint touch ups and silicone renewal etc. Really not a problem just let the room down a bit. The mattress was a bit noisy. I slept fine but my wife was not so comfortable.

  : The bathroom in our room was tiny and the whole room looked sad and neglected, certainly not worth the £185 per night. ;The restaurant was closed on a Sunday and Monday and there was only one restaurant in the village which was not to our liking. There was nowhere to sit for an after dinner drink in the evening, the lounge was in darkness and there was never anyone around to get you anything. I honestly think this hotel caters mostly for people with dogs as we saw one room with a dog in and it certainly looked better than ours, the bathroom was much bigger for a start. It is certainly not very welcoming and needs quite a bit of TLC. Would not return. The photographs are nothing like the hotel.

  : Location was lovely. Staff were great.
  : The room was basic, not all outlets worked, broken beds, slanted as well. Mould in bathroom, no hair dryer and one iron and ironing board for all rooms to share. It's the small details that make the difference.
