  : I had a dual aspect room on the 2nd floor.
  : Mosquitoes. Mosquitoes. Mosquitoes! No lift. No aircon. No insect screens on the windows. I arrived to noisy vertical fan in my room showing 27C. There was a summer storm early evening and power went off for 12h (no fault of the hotel). That night I either roasted in bed or let the mosquitoes feast. They were in my room when I arrived. I could hear them buzzing in the corridors during the day. There was even 1 sitting on the edge of a bowl of yoghurt at breakfast! The hotel seemed to close up during the day (my room key granted me access to the hotel). Check out was 11am. The maid service tried to entice me to leave by 10am. If staying here for Passau and intending to walk the 3km into town, be aware there's over a 100m ascent/descent between the hotel and town. Bus service was hourly. Taxi cost around 20 one way.
