  : Parking The site states parking is possible on site and we made this clear on the booking that on-site parking was imperative as we have a one-year child and a car full of luggage, therefore not able to park in a public car park that would pose a security risk. Parking was not available on site when we arrived, and we had to park in a local car park. THIS SHOULD BE EXPLAINED Breakfast We notified hotel that we would be arriving late and that we had a one-year old child. When we arrived, we were told breakfast would be served for us at 7am as the other slots 8.30am and 10am had already been taken. We should have been notified in advance as this is not suitable for us with a one-year old child, having checked in so late to then get up so early the next day. Hygiene I was served a latte with a hair in it. I reported this to hotel staff at the time. Air Conditioning All night the air conditioning clicked several times every 20-30 minutes. It woke our child up and consequently woke both of us up. Telephone The telephone in the room did not work. Kettle We requested a kettle to warm up milk for our child during the night. We were advised that the last kettle had been given out. IF YOU CLAIM TO BE A FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL, A KETTLE SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE. THIS IS NOT A LUXARY ITEM. Bed Configuration The room was a deluxe double room; however, we were given two single beds pushed together. The beds were uncomfortable and not what we requested as we often need to allow our child to sleep in between us. Fran Duscher (manager) agreed it was not acceptable, however unable to do anything. Head Office forced me to pay 85% of room rate. No breakfast and would not budge. APPALLING - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL OR THE STAFF OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. TERRIBLE!
