  : Elizabeth in the restaurant was fabulous, as were most of the staff. Cleaning staff and front reception were also fabulous. Overall a great stay.
  : There was a serious lack of staff for the weekend... waiting for 20-30 minutes (or longer) to get a drink etc., and running out of basic items like espresso beans, yogurt parfaits etc.. For a property at this price point, that should never happen. The staffing shortage was apparent, but the staff that were there were lovely and did their best. I understand the hotel was at 100% capacity, but those are circumstances easily planned for and should be anticipated.

  : Good location, intimate scale in an old hacienda style setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and fresh though for the price very underwhelming. The evening turndown service with treats was something to look forward to though it was skipped one of our theee nights. Disappointing. Biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Hands down the worst breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere. To add salt to the the wound it was expensive. We had planned to have a nice dinner there but after that cancelled the reservations. I never ever send food back and complain but did in this situation. To the server’s credit he handled it very well. Rightfully compted the uneaten egg entree. Between the ridiculously high resort fee and nightly parking (not really necessary as street parking was actually more convenient and easy) it was almost another $100 per night I believe. In brief: I really wanted to love the Colony Palms Hotel and was looking so forward to it but was quite disappointed. Sadly I wouldn’t return as for the price there are much better places. Sorry.

  : Hotel is small, but has nice design and facilities. Location is also good.Elizabeth at the restaurant is amazing!Yoga classes on saturday and sunday morning 9 am.
  : Hiddend charges, which were not listed on booking or anywhere (resort fee), and when we asked about them receptionists, they were very rude to us.We have a room service charge, which we do not recognise ($20). We reached out to the hotel to ask what it is, but did not receive reply and when we called the call was dropped.Service at the restaurant and by the pool was very slow. It was coachella weekend, so maybe they were just not ready to provide service to the full hotel.Bartender gossiped about other guests in front of us.We had to ask for toiletries and slippers that were missing in the room for 3 times before we finally got them.Magnetic key does not work, and it seems like it is a common issue.

  : The decor of the hotel was very chic, staff was nice, la labo products, pool was great, almost everything was appointed to.
  : We were rolling off the bed, it should have been superb. No ironing board. Our door wouldn't lock without slamming, we realized this after leaving it open one afternoon. The TVs had nothing and were in a weird spot. We were served hot champagne upon arrival.

  : Extremely poor attention to detail. Nice staff, but clueless with what it means to be in the hospitality world. Incredibly slow service, poorly maintained cleanliness of both common areas and room service, no room service after 8:00pm on Thursday, 10:00pm on weekends, outdated and out of shape rooms, horrible spa.
