: Great location looking out over the water, .7 miles from Aquarium and .7 miles from a variety of restaurants. Walk out the door to the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail. Breakfast room looks out over the water where you can spot sea otters, sea lions and dolphins. Breakfast menu changes daily with about 5 options. Staff has been there a long time and are all very friendly and helpful.
: No frig in the room, which we missed. No TV, but that was fine with us. Need to walk a half mile or so to most restaurants, which was mostly fine but nice to have a closer option.

: Loved the style - a truly unique and enjoyable stay!The breakfast was exceptional.Ideally located. Short walk to the historic Cannery Row, and the entrance for 17 mile drive is nearby.
: We appreciate the old style of the property, but our shower was quite low pressure and struggled to stay hot for very long (which was odd because the taps didn't suffer from either of these issues).

: I loved that the breakfast was served, while you had a beautiful view of the ocean. I also loved the communal areas: sitting area with view of the ocean, chess, ping pong, billiards.
: The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The furniture/armoir was falling apart. The electrical outlet by the sink/mirror wasn’t working, and the bathroom was very small. There was only one uncomfortable pillow provided so I didn’t sleep well.
