  : Very dog friendly. Great if you have dogs. Not if you have toddlers who pick up everything and put it in their mouth. Concerned with cleanliness of common yard with the number of dogs running around.

  : A well nestled accommodation option for visiting the region. Comfortable facilities and you definitely won't feel the cold with the fireplace and the rooms hold the heat in extremely well. The owners are very accommodating and the kitchenette area is very thought out for self contained lodging. Lots of storage areas for luggage for a long stay.
  : A brief instruction sheet on how to control the fireplace would have been handy for our late arrival and the batteries for the safe and TV remote needed replacing so we did not use either devices. We did not complain as there was so much to do and see outdoors. There was no non caffeine or sugar free teas available. There are no laundry facilities available unless you go into town. A hot breakfast option would have been nice for the cool weather.

  : We like the location and how quiet it is.The cottage was clean and decorated nicely. The staff are friendly.
  : We had a lot of ants in our cottage. The office was notified twice, along with pictures of the ants. Staff came over and looked around. According to staff, the nest wasn't found. It would have to be found to treat the ants. One staff member who came over said, "Oh, what's a few tiny ants." So, no spray, no ant traps. Nothing was used indoors. By the third day, there were more ants coming in. Ants were on the stove, counter, sink, floating in my coffee cup, kitchen table, bed comforter, and nightstand. We wiped surfaces, swept, and tied the trash up every day. Still had an ant issue. No fruit, snacks etc was left on the counter and table.Everything was put in the refrigerator. We did not notify the office a third time because nothing was done earlier when notified. Finally, ants made their way inside the frig, crawling along the door seal. The cost for our cottage vacation stay was $2,730.00. I'm sure a few ant traps could have been purchased. What made it so sad was that it was as if we were fluffed off, and no one cared that there was an issue. We should have a refund coming back to us. BTW we've stayed at Andril Cottages 3 other times and never had a problem. Sad, we won't be back again.
