  : Danger! Despite the phone call, the landlady no longer responds to my messages about compensation. I'm curious if my deposit will be paid back at all. We'll probably have to get our lawyer involved. The apartment was very dirty when we arrived. There was dust everywhere, chairs and sofa were stained. The blankets and mattress covers were stained. The pillows were yellow and sweaty. The slatted frames on the beds were broken and the bed had a plastic box underneath. The dishes were sticky and there was a lot of dirt in the cupboards in the kitchen. The windows were extremely dirty. Unfortunately a bad example.
