  : We were a group of three friends on a weekend trip to Nice and stayed in a Junior Suite. Both the accommodation and location suited us to a tee. The room was huge, and even if there had been 4 of us (the max. capacity of the room) it would still have been spacious enough to relax in without getting under each other's feet. The mezzanine level had two beds accessed by a spiral staircase. Headroom on the mezzanine is slightly restricted where there's a beam, but only problem if you're quite tall. I'm 5'9 and felt I had to duck to avoid the beam, but my 5'4 friends didn't even notice it. The walk in rain shower was great and the kitchenette had everything we needed for a short stay. There's was also a washing machine, which would be handy for a longer stay. The windows looked out onto a narrow street and included James Bond-esque double layer blinds. Good for black out, if required. We loved stepping out of the hotel and being in the heart of the Old Town with all of its noodle-y streets. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a couple of meters of the front door, though this does mean you might get a bit of noise from this during the night. I wore ear plugs and didn't hear a thing, but one of my friend's heard merry people walking past the hotel in the wee small hours.
  : Noise late at night from people leaving the nearby bars might be a problem for light sleepers, but didn't affect our stay. It took us a while to get the settings on the air con right, but that was probably our fault.
