  : Very basic accommodation. Blind in the room fell off the wall when we attempted to close it. Toilet seat also completely broken on arrival

  : I booked this hotel for one night through booking.com. I'm not sure whether the website or the hotel was at fault, but I got a message on the day of my booking saying that they had tried to contact me to tell me that there was no staff present at the hotel for my stay so I would need to walk into the property and the key was left in my hotel room, and that the bar and restaurant had closed. A member of staff messaged me on the day to tell me 'if I decide not to stay, that's no problem at all'. I messaged her back and said that I preferred not to stay as I felt a bit uncomfortable as a solo female staying in the hotel on my own, with no staff and with no restaurant service (as was offered on the booking). I asked for a refund at this stage. The staff member then stopped messaging me. I requested a refund through booking.com but it was not given and I have heard nothing since despite several attempts to contact them. I'm annoyed that I have now lost 76 for this booking when I didn't end up staying at the property. I was already in Cornwall and had to book another hotel at an additional cost at a very short notice as I was travelling for work. I am also frustrated that I have not had any communication following the cancellation, which to me, indicates a poor attitude to customer service and customer care. I would avoid this hotel in the future.

  : We arrived early but told 15 minutes to wait so we did but ended up two hours later was going to eat but that many wet dogs sitting around me in the restaurant I had a dogs tail hitting me for at least an hour on my leg It was freezing in the room the radiator didnt work We had no signal or Wi-Fi and they turned the Wi-Fi off at night so we couldnt even order a take away The tv was broke
