  : Got an upgrade on the room which was good.Good pool and steam room.Bar was good price for soft drinks.Staff were nice and helpful.Good parking facilities.
  : Rooms felt dated and furniture needs upgrading. Bathroom was lacking space to store things. Got disturbed while showing because of a leak that was apparently happening underneath me so clearly upgrades are needed. Some of the corridors smelt like cigarette smoke. Wasn't a fan of the internal window to the communal corridor - near the bed and couldn't entirely block the light out.Balcony was quite dirty. Beds and pillows weren't comfy. Only provided 2 normal towels for the room, no hand towels or anything and weren't a bit rough.

  : We had good sized rooms ( two ) with comfortable beds, in fact one was a family room, so there was a lot more space than we actually needed. A great sea view and plenty of light in the room. There was a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. There were loads of things to do, should you wish to and easy parking for our cars. The breakfast had a good choice, was self service and plenty of seating. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
  : ' Sands ' is very much a resort, with lots of people staying and lots to do. We used it as somewhere to stay whilst visiting family, so probably didn't make the best use of all that was available. The bathrooms were clean but looked a little tired and had limescale build up at the base of the shower screen. The mixer tap was difficult to use. One of the rooms had beams on the ceiling which were covered in cobwebs....not a good look. That was my sons room, which had he mentioned at the time, I would have wanted changed. Breakfast was noisy. There was a corporate event on, with lots of discussion. Good for them but not exactly a holiday vibe.

  : The swimming pool and Steam room were very clean and quiet which suited our needs.
  : The balcony light and one of the lights inside were broken so meant we couldn’t enjoy an evening outside. The freezer door was broken so meant the freezer compartment didn’t work properly. The shower adjuster would stay in place so had to use a soap dispenser to keep it a the right height for us to take a shower.

  : Everything I needed for a one night stay, large bathroom and big opening windows. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
  : Not the comfiest of beds (maybe just because it was a single?). Bedside lights was broken so had to use the main light all the time.
