: Porthpean is a very pleasant and indeed beautiful location on the coast. The apartment was clean, warm, comfortable and everything supplied and easy to use. It actually comprises 4 good size rooms, bedroom, sitting room, kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower. Owners live next door and very friendly and helpful.
: Wifi was weak, only worked and sometimes intermittently if you were very close to the repeater (seems to be shared wifi). Not the most important thing on a holiday but worth noting.

: It is located in a very quiet area, with a beach just minutes away. However, the road to the beach is very steep, so the walk back to the property could be too arduous for some people. The actual property has everything required (cleaning products, bedding, towels etc.) and the view over the sea is superb. They even present visitors with a gift voucher, to get groceries from one of the nearby supermarkets.
: The one issue we had was the distance to local amenities. Despite assurances that the next village was a 20 minute walk, that estimate was somewhat optimistic, and a taxi would have been needed. As a result we didn't go out in the evening for a meal, which is a big part of our holiday routine.
