  : The location was wonderful, and the hotel itself was beautiful. After the first few days we were really in love with the place, and were really eager to return - but unfortunately the behaviour of the staff changed all that and we would not recommend it.
  : Sadly on our last full day (which happened to be my birthday), we went up to the pool. There were some loungers available for rent. We asked how much they were and were told multiple times by an employee that they were "one dollar fifty" - my partner clarified multiple times that this was the case (one dollar and fifty cents) and the employee said it was - we thought this seemed a slightly odd price, but as the rest of the chairs were free ($0) and the employee confirmed several times, we thought it must be correct. We booked for two time periods (2 x 2 hours) and just after 2 hours, we decided to head back to the room.We were then presented with a bill for $300(!!!) as the price had been $150 per time period (contrary to what the employee had said). We queried the price with him but he did not understand what we were saying/asking, so - feeling rather put on the spot - we signed the bill, then immediately (within 5 minutes) phoned the manager to explain the misunderstanding and ask them to resolve the issue. We were well-aware there was no ill-will at all on the part of the employee (for whom English was his second language), but as it was a ludicrously expensive price - and one we had not agreed to - and when we had not stayed for the full 4 hours (just over 2 hours), we asked if they could change the charge to 2 hours ($150) - which was still a ludicrous cost, but we understood it was a misunderstanding, and we did still have use of it for that time.Sadly, this is where our (previously excellent) experience with the hotel took a turn for the worse. The manager who looked into it insisted we pay the full amount of $300 (which we did not agree to, nor fully use), and he and several other staff members were quite sneering/rude to us saying they "don't see how this can have happened" (inferring we were lying about the issue(!)).

  : The room size and amenities was great. But the rooftop bar and lobby restaurant left a lot to be desired in terms of quality and especially service. Would not return to either. Save your money for the hundreds of other good places around here.
  : The noise from the street easily made it into the room. And on Saturday night it was so loud and terrible. For this reason, I would not return here.
