  : The mattress was new and it was very comfortable. Much appreciated! The hotel was in a great location and very easy to get to from the station. The bathroom was good for the size. Although the window was small it did open wide which is great for fresh air and sleeping at night. There was ice cold bottled water available for pick up everyday for guests. The outside area is ideal if you want to sit outside. One of the girls at the evening reception was very welcoming and helpful. This is how all the staff in the hotel should be.
  : The room was a single and on the third floor which is not ideal for everyone if carrying heavy luggage as there is no lift. The room was very small and a bit dark as the window was small. The carpet needed changing and the room would benefit from different flooring. The breakfast at 17 euros was not good value for money given other hotels of the same standing. The breakfast is not on display and although it is very nice to be served by the staff there was little choice by way of cooking. Moreover although you can have everything on the menu which boasts local and organic producers there was no nicely cut fresh fruit, the scrambled eggs were prepped in advance and half cold and no other options available like a boiled egg for example. Overall it did not feel like a breakfast for guests but one which is made easy for the staff to manage. The hotel is run by students and although they are generally efficient some staff lacked skills in greeting guests. A smile goes a long way!

  : My recommendations to improve the experience would be: 1) the bathroom area and shower are a bit cramped. 2) I was not given or offered a receipt when I paid.
