  : I had already checked in via Aurora's website/app that booking.com give you the link to. I come to check in, there is a huge metal door you have to press the buzzer to get through then you walk to the back out building (not easily navigated), you walk up 2 flights of stairs to where the reception is and at 1:30am when we tried to check in (we told them the time in advanced) I was greeted by the receptionist saying 'hahaha no' and that my booking was 'Blacklisted' I had absolutely no knowledge of this, it came as a huge shock/surprise because I had already booked this 10 days prior, no issues. The receptionist wanted me to pay a further 130 Euros for us to stay the night (well only a couple of hours) after much back and forth and from what I could see this 1 star hotel was not worth that amount of money. So this left me and my partner at 2am on the streets of Milan with no hotel for the night...What a way to start our trip, cheers Aurora and booking.com because the communication was horrific. P.S we ended up in a 2 star hotel for half the price of this 1 star hotel.
