  : I had the WORST experience in this apartment and with the HOST!!!! I could not access and check in into the apartment the first night, and could not sleep in the apartment. I had to sleep and pay (350 euros) for a night at the hotel next door. The situation I was left in was unacceptable. The fist night, I arrived late around 2am at the apartment, and was suppose to self check in with a code to get inside the property. The code didn't work and after trying for 40 minutes and trying to contact the host, I was left with no choice but to pay a night at a hotel nearby. A real nightmare!! The host knew very well beforehand of my late arrival that day. Still, she was unreachable by mail or by phone!!! The next morning 9am, I had still not receive ANY response from the host!!! Again I tried to call her - no answer. An hour after she texted me that she will call me back as soon as possible. She ended up answering me by text message that she was not responsible in any case of the situation but that there was a "malfunction with the keypad" the night of my arrival. How unprofessional it is?!! She couldn't care less about my situation and said that she won't be able to help me pay back the night at the hotel!!!! I had to cancel professional meetings I had planned in Milan the next morning of my arrival because at 9am I was still waiting for the host to call me back!!! This is so unprofessional from the host. I never experienced something like that. I have reached the customer service of Booking and still did not get a full refund of the night at the hotel I had to pay myself!!! What a shame!!! The apartment itself didn't even have soap (the bare minimum) to wash hands or for the shower. Very disappointed with the service and with the poor quality of the apartment. I would not recommend to any one this apartment.
