  : Location is spectacular. 3 lovely bedrooms each with a modern bathroom makes it great when 6 people travelling together. Breakfast was great. Everything quite new and apartment very clean. Overall very good value for money.

  : The room was incredible and the place too, really close to the heart of the Matera historical center.
  : The host was extremely rude and noncooperative when handling the keys if felt she was the guest and not us. Unfortunately, it influenced our review of the stay. The air-conditioning was impossible to shut down.

  : The photos on the website show a beautiful stone apartment with gorgeous soft lighting. I was told it was a three bedroom apartment. So I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when we arrived to a white, generic two bedroom apartment with very little living space - just a dining room - and then the two bedrooms. The view was great. BUT this was not the apartment they show in the pics. I think they have changed the photos as I was not the only person who had this negative experience.

  : Great location and exceptional view from the balcony. Hosts were great and provided lots of info ahead of time and were easily contactable. The apartment was perfect for our stay and the breakfast was a lovely bonus. Would definitely recommend.

  : Location is amazing. Stunning views on the doorstep The courtyard is a picturesque feature and the property itself absolutely stunning. Its kept immaculate with no dust or webs anywhere considering the really high ceilings. The breakfast of sweet and savoury pastries come delivered approx 8:45 in a basket from a local bakery. Pair this with the expresso machine in the kitchen you can sit out front and have an amazing breakfast experience. Also completely fell in love with the interior design, especially the bathroom.
  : The property did not have the best temperature regulation. The cooling unit and fan were very loud and give you the option of being too hot or sleeping in very loud noise in the summer months. Even with everything off, there is another unit inside (some kind of air circulation for the cave perhaps?) which drones on a bit, so light sleepers should come prepared. Mild smell of damp on entry but not noticeable after a minute or two. Also a leaky hose in the courtyard brings a bit of damp smell to what is a stunning area. Little things like this can be easily addressed. No fault of the property, just be warned google maps took us a very unexpected route up and down Sassi with a suitcase. The property is actually conveniently placed with not many steps involved (if you go the correct route) so dont rely on apps and do a bit of route planning prior. It was a ounce on a liftetime stay so the positives outweigh the negatives. Didnt get a good sleep here would still stay again which says it all.

  : The lady was very nice but it was clear she had encountered issues with the way they advertise the unit on booking.com. The view was very nice too.
  : They are marketing three or more different units with this one booking. We booked a three-bedroom unit at a different address (2 units away) and they put us in a unit that was also shown in the MANY pictures on the booking. The way they were managing the booking at the time was one booking for all three units (they have since changed the setting). The address in our confirmation was a different address than where they put us. We even had to argue to make them open a third room. To me the story they were telling us was the truth but the way they marketed. I would stay there again but not pay the premium price for a "cave" experience.
