  : I like the look of the pub downstairs (although didn't have their food or drink).
  : The hotel is close to the train however the trains run very infrequently into Heidelberg. I thought the hotel was close to Heidelberg but it wasn't and my ride from the old town Heidelberg on a Friday night took an hour since I had to wait at the Hof station. I asked the hotel reception for info in English about Heidelberg but she had none since the hotel was in Mannheim. The breakfast was $7 for cereal so I opted to go to the nearby bakery. The room itself was okay but it weirded me out that the bathroom had shampoo and body wash that was communal so the guest before me had to had touched it.

  : The owner was a very sweet lady!
  : The room was horrible. It was clean but it was right next to a s-bahn (tram) stop and every 10 min (also during the night) you had the feeling that the train runs through your room. It was a very warm day and the sun stood on the windows the whole afternoon, hence you needed to open the window. As i asked to change rooms due to the noise I was told to close the windows and it would be quiet!!! There were just 2 other cars in the parking and it was not booked fully and I didnt appreciate that they didnt care about my concern of the noise. The bed was hard as wood!
