: Good location and quiet
: This was not the apartment we booked. Even though we only booked two days in advance, the agent did not inform me until he met us on the day that the apartment we had booked was no longer available. The reason for this was not clear to me as he could not speak English. Beyond this he was also late to meet me (even though we agreed a time just the evening before), meaning my family (including two small children) had to wait in the pouring rain. I then had to follow him two blocks on foot to another building where he showed me the replacement apartment. The main door to the building was broken which made it difficult to get the large stroller through (the originally booked place had a large door). Furthermore, the apartment was on the 3rd floor (the original was on the 1st) which presented further problems for the stroller. The fridge did not work properly (it was not any colder than the ambient temperature) and the apartment was a bit dirty (it had been cleaned, but there was still mildew in the cupboards and hair in the shower). I understand that unexpected things happen and alternatives must be arranged (this is the generous interpretation of what happened with the originally booked apartment), but what angered me the most was he then phoned a friend to explain to me that whilst this is not the apartment we booked, it is actually worth more and we should give him a good review because he is giving it to us at the same price as the other. Lviv was totally over-run by tourists at the time and it was impossible to find anything else at short notice. If this had not been the case I never would have stayed and I will certainly never go back.
