  : We absolutely loved the location of the property and stunning scenery. The house was immaculate, cosy and very well stocked with everything we needed. The garden was superb. It had plenty of outdoor games to play on the lawn and it was wonderful to watch the Red Kites flying above for entertainment. We loved walking around the village and really enjoyed the Aardvark Book shop in Brampton Bryon. Wood n Ribbon in Hopton is a great place to stop for lunch and The Baron at Bucknell had a great choice of food for children.
  : There arent many amenities nearby which means you have to be reasonably well organised if you have young children like us. You can buy meat at the local butchers but most other basics require a drive to the supermarket at Knighton (just over 10 minutes away), but that certainly isnt a big problem. The local Sitwell arms pub doesnt always serve a full menu (only a problem with children on a Thursday!) and The Baron at Bucknell needs to be booked in advance as it gets busy (but the food is great!).
