  : The location was 10 minutes from the central line which made it ideal for what we needed.
  : As the hotel is a converted house the walls are quite thin. Lots of noise early in the morning/late at night.

  : The staff were really nice
  : It’s advertised and branded as a hotel, but it’s evident there are a lot of people living there permanently and/or as temporary accommodation which made it uncomfortable given that wasn’t what we had booked.A lot of the building is dark and dingy, cleanliness in the rooms is poor (feet were filthy from the carpet just when getting out of the shower), hair on the beds etc and the bathrooms weren’t much better. Everything is really outdated and mismatched furniture wise and it reminded me of the probation hostel I used to work in. The staff were very nice to be fair to them, but I personally wasn’t comfortable staying here as there were mainly male guests during our stay too - this was apparently because of the cricket, however I think it’s more likely they were staying there on a longer term basis as they very much treated the communal area as their own living space. Location is great if you want to be close to Stratford and there was parking too which was really handy, but it’s definitely overpriced for what it is. I can guarantee if you booked an actual hostel it would be cleaner and of a better standard.
