  : Nice interior and decent sized room. The bed was very comfortable, and the receptionist, Micky, was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a better room, although this might not have been a good thing (as you'll see later).We stayed only one night and were very busy, so didn't experience everything the hotel had to offer.However, it was very clean and well kept. It also appears to be very popular. I'd happily stay here again.
  : They've renovated some rooms, and the top floor has that lovely 'new carpet' smell. However, there may be some electrical issues. We had a problem with a motion detecting light above the kettle / drinks tray. In theory, it should turn on when you go near it. However, there was something going on with the sensor and no matter where you were in the room, the light would switch on and off, on and off, on and off.We informed reception, and by the time we came back in the evening, it was fixed.However, the next morning, none of the lights in the room worked at all. This meant that I needed to shower using my phone torch.We again informed reception. It appeared that the circuit flipped. We had only plugged in 2 phones to charge during the night, so I wouldn't say we put much strain on the circuitry. Maybe it was a one off, or maybe there's a bigger issue. Im sure they'll work it out.Not a huge catastrophe, but I do tend to want functioning lights when I pay over £130 for a room.
