  : The accommodation reflected the tranquil oasis, which it was located in the Kenington/Earl Court Area. It also aligned with the residential character of the area. Recently renovated. It is in close. proximity to the subway.

  : The bathroom was nice. Housekeeping did a nice job every day. Lobby staff was pleasant and the atmosphere upstairs felt relaxing and upscale.
  : The wifi was unreliable and the walls were very thin. That wouldn't be so bad if staff didn't make it a habit to loudly talk and bang things around outside our window at midnight. Additionally, their room service was laughably bad and wasn't even room service, since you had to meet a delivery driver in the lobby to get it. It was essentially Uber Eats for extra charge. Also the charge ports on the bed only worked with the lights on so we couldn't charge our phones overnight.

  : The hotel is well located, it had a comfortable bed and the room I was eventually given was reasonably spacious and quiet, facing the back of the property. Interestingly, the tea and coffee facilities were more expansive in the second room (they provided biscuits) but still no bottled water (as advertised).
  : I arrived at 1pm and was told to come back between 2 and 3pm. I left my luggage and arrived back at 2.30pm. The room was still not ready, so they invited me to the bar, provided a free drink and nuts and I waited a further 20 minutes. Booking.com suggests check in is from 2pm. The 'Executive Double' room I was initially given (1G) was next to the lifts, stairs and reception and noisy; the bed was pushed to the wall as the room was so small so you couldn't access the bed from both sides (not ideal as a 'double'); the facilities advertised on booking.com were not provided (bottled water) so their advertising needs to be updated. I raised my concerns about the room potentially being noisy immediately, and the receptionist indicated some find it noisy, others don't. After spending some time in the room, I raised the noise issue (it was bad) again as I didn't want to leave it until the middle of the night and my concerns were ignored. The third time I raised it another receptionist grudgingly and eventually moved me, after I indicated that I had an evening engagement to attend (he asked me when I would need to leave to attend it). Earlier he indicated they were full, they would have to resell the original room and confirming I hadn't 'used' anything in the room. I had been in the room, by that stage, at least 1.5 hours! By the time I was in the new room, my afternoon in London was wasted. As a sole traveller, when I book and pay £255 for an 'Executive Double', I expect to get just that and when I very politely express my concerns, to be taken seriously.I previously lived in London and have stayed in booked accommodation many times. My expectations of accommodation in London are based on experience and not unreasonable.
