  : Breakfast area was clean and tidy. Nice spread and selection
  : Stayed in room 15. Shower mixer needed cleaning/maintenance as either scalding hot or freezing cold. Asked staff if I could dry shoes due to heavy rain and was just told "No". No assistance in any way. Day staff friendly however night staff in no way helpful

  : It was quite cheap for a London hotel I guess. Beds were a bit small but comfy. A fan was already running in the room on a hot day, which was thoughtful.
  : Nice staff at check-in but never saw them after that, not even at breakfast. Room was pretty small. It was a hot evening but it was far hotter in the room than elsewhere. Had to have the window open so woken at 1am and 2am with car racers passing in the small streets - clearly not the hotel’s fault. The door didn’t unlock on your way out, so a fire evac would have been slowed. The door lock was one of those small twist locks on a twisty handle. The shower drained slower than the water outlet, so the tray filled up and nearly overflowed even with a 3 min shower. The hairdryer was ‘mended’ with black nasty tape. Worrying that the electrical safety wasn’t up to spec. It was pretty mouldy and stained in the shower. The soap bar from the last occupant was left out to use - a bit odd and unsanitary. Breakfast was cold. Sausage, scrambled egg and beans left out with no heat source. Continental breakfast stuff left out with no covers on, so flies on the meats and cheese. No butter left out. Coffee was cold too. Tables not cleared and reset so we had to get cutlery off another table. Generally a half decent bed for a night in London.

  : The general room & fixtures were quite worn and the room was hot due to the warm weather & location so it was a little overheated however for the short break it was fine

  : room was very much budget and you could smell the drains. Only positive was the proximity to the train station. Did not attempt the breakfast after reading the bad reviews!

  : Ease of finding the accomodation, value for the money,and if you are interested in history the blind beggar pub is within walking distance from the property.
  : Breakfast a let down , sausages were obviously cooked the day or two before and reheated in the microwave, scrambled eggs were cold and congealed, hot water for drinks was luke warm . Apart from that the accommodation was fair .
