Comfort Inn Hyde Park

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Bed is too small for 2 adults. Its not a regular double bed

Fair
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: The hotel is in a hotel area, quite calm on the street at night. It is a longer, but still walking distance from the centre. Close by, there is good communication on underground and some restaurants.
: The room was smaller than I expected. If the description matched it wouldn't be a problem, but now it feels like missleading information.

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Location is perfect
: Staff were rude, no lift is awful when placed on the 5th floor, stairs only have one hand rail and incredible steep towards the top of the building, rooms where small which is fine for the price, beds incredibly hard, pillows where like sleeping on cinder blocks and only one each.

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Very small rooms and even smaller bathroom
  : Room

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : The location was great.
: The hairdryer didnt work, the light blew in the bathroom, the room was so small we could barely move. The staff made you feel like it was an imposition just talking to them. They were not friendly nor accomodating. The breakfast needs to have time slots because the room you eat in is a shoe box and you cant move or sit down if its busy. Out of all the hotels we stayed at it was by far the worst. Paid over 200 a night aus dollars for this. Value for money it is not.

Very Good

Very Good
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: The location was superb, with the underground so close and plenty of places to eat and mini supermarkets around. It was very close to a Hop on Hop off bus stop, so made it even easier for our touring plans. The breakfast was good with everything you expect from a continental one. The staff was really helpful and kept the area clean and replenished of food. The receptionists are kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and looked like they had been recently decorated. The air conditioner was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised with everything. We had everything we needed for the price we paid.
: The lift wasnt working. We were lucky to be on the 3rd floor, but for people like us with bad backs having to take the suitcases to higher floors would have been very uncomfortable. The bathroom tap was hard to manoeuvre.

Poor
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : Location was decent
: Staff were rude. Dismissive when raised concerns. Room was grubby and tired. Asked for family room, was given a 8m2 prison cell with a caravan sized bed. Needless to say, we left after an hour and found another hotel.

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
: Breakfast was not well organized with few options
  : Price can be lower
