  : I've stayed in quite a few self catering properties over the years, but this was the most well-equipped I've ever stayed in. The owners had clearly thought very carefully about what was required, and even a slow cooker was available. There was ample cutlery & crockery, this meant we didn't need to run the dishwasher very often as we never ran out of the essentials. The location is great for the beach at Newborough & for seeing red squirrels very close by. Although the owners make it clear that early access to the property isn't available, I hadn't seen that so had requested it. They pulled out all the stops & we did get early access.
  : The only negative - which wouldn't be a problem if you didn't have unseasonably bitterly cold weather, as we did - was that the heating couldn't be programmed to come on at certain times. There were electric heaters, which heated the rooms well, but you had to manually turn them on and set them to turn off after a certain period of time. Not the end of the world, by any means, just a little inconvenient.

  : Clean, well laid out property, which had everything we needed to explore a part of Wales we have never been to. Located in a village with friendly locals.
